He is a highly experienced surgeon and an internationally prominent educator in the field of hair restoration surgery. He has spoken to audiences in several countries and across the United States. He received his medical degree with honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1996. Following medical school, he completed seven years of specialty surgical training, including a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ENT surgery) and a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Michigan Medical Center.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ENT Surgery). He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Anderson has maintained an office in Beverly Hills, CA, since 2003, and is a Clinical Assistant at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Anderson received training in the fine arts from the Pennsylvania State University and is a medical illustrator who has published drawings in several peer-reviewed medical journals and textbooks.
His interests include hockey, which he has played since 1974, photography, motorcycles, and travel.
